Do I need an amplifier for a turntable? On what I should pay attention while choosing?

Hi man. According to different opinions in almost all cases - yes. Such device usually has line out with very weak signal and most definitely need an amplifier to make audible sound. There are some cases where an amp is built in.

Good day. I agree with previous answer. It is good idea to buy and use tube amp for record player. But of course all it depends on your personal preferences. Personally, I use an amplifier to improve sound quality and volume.
