Hey guys, my university is producing "Sunday in the Park With George" for our fall musical. I am currently stumped on what to sing.
my voice part is a tenor and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or suggestions.
Thanks a lot |

| I would look at Sondheim stuff of course. I would suggest Marry me Alittle from Company, or something by the Baker from Into The Woods. listen to Sunday in the Park with George first so you can get a feel for the music, then listen to more of sondheims music to find something of the same tone and/or style. |

| Mandy Patankin was a tenor in the broadway cast.If you want to try out for george do something from sunday. When I was in community theatre we did a sondhiem show with a bunch of his songs.I sang Lesson #8 and the melody is simple but the tenor parts are not so easey. If you sing that perfectly you will get any part you try out for. |
