I would like to suggest some implementation of AJAX. This would make it easier to access details without necessarily reloading the whole page. Wouldn't this benefit both the user and the servers?

I can see a lot of uses it here. Maybe click a link to bring up the lyrics without loading the whole page, browsing categories...

What do you think on this and are there any major changes coming? Thanks for keeping the place running fine lately. It's always a pleasure to see this growing library. Nearly been here for six years soon.

Hey thanks for the suggestion and no time no talk! 6 years must have been a long time.

The site should really be re-designed, into a system much like YouTube. Other members have pointed out, validating MIDI one by one is still one of the most troubled process we have. Sad thing is, the database is already as complicated as it is and I can't seem to find much time yet to re-do this project.

I will look into AJAX. I agree the pages on this site need better design and efficiency overall.

I'm not a programmer myself but if I was, I would have liked to contribute some of my spare time in making a new design for HamieNET.

I know GameSpot is having a re-design soon (another website I use) and thought that it would be a good idea for HamieNET to be in a similar style such as YouTube, as you pointed out. I look forward to changes, whenever you decide to do them.
