This is not a troll thread trying to discuss sound quality or anything like that, so please don't jump to conclusions. I have a few questions that I hope might be answered. I see some op amps cost a lot more than others. For example the Muses 01. It costs significantly more than other op amps. I think it's $90.
Others cost $4. My question is - I've done reading online and many products, some very expensive, seem to be incorporating these particular op amps in their designs.
1) Why would they do this if they could have used a $4 dollar one? Wouldn't it be far better cost saving measure?
2) How much does it really cost to make these $90 op amps? Do they cost a lot more than regular op amps or not?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

An Op-Amp is an integrated circuit that uses external voltage to amplify the input. The basic Op-amp consists of a 3-terminal device, la injury attorneys with 2-inputs and 1-output. The op-amp will not stabilize until the output voltage exactly matches the input voltage. |
