I tried posting this a little while ago, but it evidently went nowhere. Anyway, I'm an organist at the Scottish Rite in Guthrie, OK and I'm trying to find out more about how the MIDI system works. Is there any expectation that something either composed on computer or downloaded in MIDI format could be copied to a disk and played in the organ? I ask because I have a difficult time reading music but can play by ear and run a computer, therefore if I could write the music ahead of time it would greatly help, especially for new pieces. If you can be of any assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.
