| cand midi's be used as ringtones? if so how do i put it on my phone. i have a verizon phone and i just got a cord to hook up to your phone and the internet but i dont no how to use it. help! |

Yes, a MIDI can be used as ringtone for most polyphonic cellphone. Since you already have the physical connection (a PC-Cellphone cord), you should be all set. If your cellphone comes with a software, use it to upload stuffs (including MIDI) onto your phone. If not, the functions should all be controlled by the cellphone. Once you plug the cord in (I assume it's a USB cord since it's the most popular type), Windows should have a response saying that "device is connected". Right-click on the device icon and select "send files" (or something similar). Then select the MIDI on your computer and press send.
The key-point here is that your computer must be able to recognize your cellphone first. |
